SORA Technology is engaged in a business that combines drones and artificial intelligence (AI) in the West African region, including Sierra Leone, to eradicate the larvae (larvae) of malaria-carrying mosquitoes. This system, named “SORA Malaria Control,” uses fixed-wing drones to detect the size, depth, and temperature of water bodies and analyzes them with AI to select those with a high risk of mosquito larva infestation. By spraying insecticides only on high-risk water bodies, it enables environmentally friendly and cost-effective pest control compared to conventional methods, drawing attention from around the world in the field of global health.

In “J-StarX,” SORA Technology has been recognized as an entrepreneur operating this business overseas, and CEO Yosuke Kaneko is set to participate in training programs at incubation facilities such as STATION F in France, where startups are concentrated.
