with AI to collect data on water bodies and their surroundings for larval source management purposes.
Aerial surveillance and mapping of potential larval habitats, identification of mosquito breeding sites,
and an assessment of environmental factors contributing to mosquito proliferation will contribute to
UHC and The Global Technical Strategy (GTS) for malaria, which was developed to accelerate progress
towards malaria elimination by 2030.

Drone & AI for Malaria control – A Digitalized Larval source Management by SORA

SORA Technology specializes in utilizing drones and AI for planetary health, addressing worldwide
infectious diseases. With a specific focus on our malaria control initiative, we employ drones equipped
with AI to collect data on water bodies and their surroundings for larval source management purposes.
The specific activities involved include aerial surveillance and mapping of potential larval habitats,
identification of mosquito breeding sites, risk classification, an assessment of environmental factors
contributing to mosquito proliferation, and spraying of larvicide solution.
In addition to the positive impact on the prevalence of malaria, our solution also proves to be highly
cost-effective, resulting in significant cost savings due to the substantial reduction in larvicides sprayed
compared to the conventional method. This, in turn, contributes to saving the environment from
unnecessary spraying, making our solution eco-friendly.
