On October 6, 2022, an article introducing SORA Technology’s efforts in Sierra Leone was published on the official Blog of the Directrate of Science, Technology and Innovation of Sierra Leone (DSTI).

DSTI, SORA Technology, and Njala University have been under cooperation with MoU “ESTABLISHMENT OF MEDICAL DRONE INFRASTRUCTURE IN SIERRA LEONE” signed in December, 2021.

In July and August of 2022, SORA Technology conducted several technology demonstration tests of SORA Malaria Control at the Drone Corridor, a dedicated drone test site built around the campus of the Njala University.

Reference: “SORA Malaria Control,” the world’s first solution using fixed-wing drone aerial photography and AI, was selected for the “J-Partnership Product and Service Development Support Project Subsidy” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan.
