SORA Technology exhibits at African Mining Indaba 2026

SORA Mining Intelligence Room & Stakeholder Prosperity Platform

SORA Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Japan; Founder & CEO: Yosuke Kaneko; hereafter “SORA Technology”), which provides advanced drone, satellite, and AI solutions across public health, agriculture, and climate resilience, announced that its mining intelligence and stakeholder prosperity platform will be exhibited at Investing in African Mining Indaba 2026, scheduled for 9–12 February 2026, in Cape Town, South Africa

Since its inception in 1994, the African Mining Indaba conference has become a pivotal event for mining professionals, investors, and industry leaders looking to capitalize on the vast opportunities in Africa’s mining sector.

As a company selected under J-Startup, the official innovation program of the Government of Japan, SORA Technology brings a level of reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational maturity that goes far beyond the typical start-up profile. This designation serves as a national seal of quality, reinforcing SORA Technology’s readiness for global deployment in demanding environments such as mining. Yosuke Kaneko, the founder & CEO of SORA Technology, and its business development leaders will be stationed at the exhibition booth to engage directly with various stakeholders in the mining industry.

SORA Technology will exhibit its “SORA Mining Intelligence Room”, a new operational intelligence environment powered by AI, drones, and satellite observation. This integrated system is designed to enhance productivity, ESG performance, governance, and workforce health across the mining sector. The company will also present its “Stakeholder Prosperity Hub”, a platform supporting transparent engagement and shared value creation among mining companies, communities, and regulators.

As part of this initiative, Veridicor will serve as a key stakeholder, reinforcing the platform with its Licence to Operate (LTO) methodology, a data-driven approach that helps companies understand and secure stakeholder approval in complex environments. Veridicor’s role includes ensuring integrity, independence, and transparency of data exchanges across the ecosystem. By providing objective verification and validation services, Veridicor strengthens trust among all participants and supports mining companies in achieving and maintaining their social and operational legitimacy.
