As “All Volunteer Business Leaders Supporting Global Health,” Submitted a petition to Prime Minister Yoshihide Kan on Strengthening Global Health Initiatives that Harness the Energies of the Private Sector
On Tuesday, April 27, Yosuke Kaneko, CEO of SORA Technology, made a plea to Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga to further strengthen global health efforts to harness the vitality of the private sector as a member of the “Volunteer Business Leaders Supporting Global Health”, a group of Japanese business leaders who support global health (healthcare as a global issue, especially in the areas of public health and infectious disease control), led by Ken Shibusawa, CEO of Shibusawa & Company, Inc.
The letter emphasizes the significance of the Japanese government’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) contributions to the field of global health from the perspective of the vitality of the Japanese private sector, and expresses the desire from the standpoint of the private sector for the steady implementation of such assistance.
