At the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9), held in Yokohama, Japan from August 20–22, 2025, SORA Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Japan; Founder & CEO: Yosuke Kaneko; hereafter “SORA Technology”) had the honor of welcoming distinguished visitors to its booth, including former Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Yoji Muto, and former Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Yasutoshi Nishimura.

SORA Technology leverages AI and drone technologies to tackle global challenges such as infectious disease control and agricultural support in Africa and other emerging regions. At TICAD9, the company showcased its flagship initiative, SORA Malaria Control, along with other aerospace-based solutions designed to address pressing health and climate issues.

During their visit, the dignitaries were introduced to the company’s latest projects and future outlook, while also engaging in discussions about how SORA Technology’s innovations can contribute to sustainable development and foster collaboration between Africa and Japan.
