Exploring New Applications Through a Pilot Project in Cambodia

As part of its broader disease control initiatives, SORA Technology launched a pilot project in Cambodia in 2024, supported by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) under its Asia Digital Transformation (ADX) Program.
During field activities in rural Cambodia, local stakeholders expressed growing concern not only about malaria but also about dengue fever—another serious mosquito-borne disease in the region. In response, the company is now evaluating how far its drone and AI solutions can be adapted for dengue vector control.

Given that dengue, like malaria, is transmitted by mosquitoes, it is not a challenge SORA Technology can overlook.
